The late Herb M. Iris was a distinguished alumnus of NCE, who remained close to his alma mater throughout his post-graduation life.

A great visionary and a major benefactor and supporter of NJIT athletics, Mr. Iris had the longest tenure as chair of the Highlander Athletic Advisory Board and served as national chair of the Highlander Athletics Campaign.
