OREM, UT - NJIT's junior forward Nesho Milosevic has been named the men's NCAA Division I Player of the Week for the second time this season for his performance last week, Brent Anderson of Utah Valley announced.
Milosevic combined for 43 points (21.5) and 24 rebounds (12.0) in two games for the Highlanders last week.
Nesho posted his sixth double-double of the season recording 21 points, 11 rebounds at LaSalle. The 21 points and 11 rebounds from Milosevic were game-high.
NJIT, which scored its single-game season high with the 76 points against Chicago State, got 21 points and a game-high 13 rebounds from Milosevic.
The double-double for Milosevic was his second in the last two games and his third in the last five games. He has seven double-doubles on the season.
The weekly independent awards are nominated and voted on by sports information directors at nine NCAA Division I independent schools.
The Highlanders will bring the 2007-08 season to a close on Saturday with a 2 pm (MST) game at Utah Valley in Orem, UT.
