NEWARK, NJ - The New Jersey Institute of Technology men's soccer team opened up their spring schedule edging St. Francis (NY), 2-1, Saturday afternoon at Lubetkin Field.

The Highlanders scored the first goal of the game when sophomore Michael Bento assisted Brian Nash in the first period. The score was knotted at 1-1 at halftime.

Erik Magnusson chipped in the second goal for the Highlanders pulling ahead 2-1 of St. Francis (NY). Kayo Emojong was credited with the assist.

NJIT returns to action when they travel to Seton Hall on Saturday, March 31. The Highlanders face Seton Hall at 11am and Iona at 12pm.
