PHILADELPHIA - Josh Osit, NJIT's junior goalkeeper, was named Atlantic Soccer Conference Goalie of the Week for his play in the Highlanders' 1-0 win over visiting Longwood, the ASC announced today.

Tagging Player of the Year was Liam Ogle from Florida Atlantic where he registered two goals in a pair of games for the Owls.

Osit backed a solid team defensive effort for NJIT as he made seven saves en route to his second shutout of the season.

A graduate of Franklin High School in New Jersey, Osit picked up his second win in goal, as NJIT raised its conference record to 1-2, with five games left on the schedule; two in conference play.

NJIT will play a non-conference game at Army on Tuesday at 7 pm in West Point, NY, before visiting Howard for another ASC game on Saturday, October 27 at 7 pm.
