FAIRFIELD, CT - Senior Hayk Ekshian won the men's 100-meter fly and placed second in the 50-meter free at 1:03.56 and 25.98, respectively, as visiting New Jersey Institute of Technology fell 116-81 in men's swimming at Fairfield on Saturday.
In the individual 200-meter IM, Marc Ubaldi and Mike Lawson finished two and four and Alan Roberts placed first in the 100-meter free with a time of 58.71.
Ubaldi took second in the 400-meter free, adding to NJIT's point total. Also picking up points for the Highlanders were; James Paccioretti and Alfio Racite in the 50-meter free. Steve Schreyer and Mike Lawson picked up points in the 100-meter free while Daniel Botero, Michael Finley and Racite finished four-five-six in the 100-meter backstroke.
The Highlanders' next scheduled action is on January 26, when they host Queens (NY) at 6pm in the Fleisher Athletic Center.
