NEWARK, NJ - The New Jersey Institute of Technology men's swimming team registered a 112-86 win over visiting Stevens Institute of Technology Wednesday night.
Junior Hayk Ekshian set a new school record in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 56.02 and fellow junior Marc Ubaldi's 2:07.14 was another school record in the 200-yard individual medley.
Ekshian also finished first in the 50-yard freestyle (23.08) and Ben Angeli was first with a 1:05.69 in the 100-yard backstroke. Andrew Coslow joined Ubaldi in picking up two second-place finishes for the Highlanders. Ed Lui, Daniel Botero and Brad Weidman also had seconds for NJIT.
NJIT will host Mount Saint Mary on Saturday at 1 pm.
