GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY - The New Jersey Institute of Technology men's swimming team split a tri-meet at NYU, defeating St. Francis (NY), 53-38, and falls to NYU, 61-29.

Against St. Francis (NY), senior Hayk Ekshian swam a first place finish and a second place finish in the (50 free; 100 fly). Also picking up first place finishes was Rob Franc in the 100 breast at 1:02.87. and Marc Ubaldi in the 200 IM.

The 200 free relay team of: Steve Schreyer, Franc, Hayk and Ubaldi was also first at 1:44.34.

Against NYU, Ubaldi was first in the 200 IM, Hayk was first in the 200 fly and Franc won the 100 breast.

The Highlanders are off until February 16, when they are scheduled to swim at Metropolitan Conference Championships in New Brunswick.
