JERSEY CITY, NJ - The New Jersey Institute of Technology men's swimming team lost twice in its tri-meet at St. Peter's College. The Highlanders fell short against host St. Peter's, 148-62, and lost to St. Francis (NY), 133-79.
Senior Hayk Ekshian was the top performer finishing third in the 50 free at 22.89 and second in the 100 butterfly with a time of 55.59 against St. Peter's and St. Francis (NY).
Rookie Pablo Botero finished sixth in the 200 free and fifth in the 500 free.
The Highlanders return to action when they travel to Canisus on Saturday for an 11:00am start.
