TENAFLY, NJ - The New Jersey Institute of Technology men's tennis team fell 6-1 Saturday night to Fairleigh Dickinson at Tenafly Racquet Club.
Fairleigh Dickinson took five singles matches all but one. Freshman Cosmin Chiujdea earned a point for the Highlanders at No. 3 singles defeating Alex Nace 6-3,3-3,6-4.
Doubles partners Steve Arlt and Tim Weiman took a 8-7 victory at No. 3 doubles in a (7-3) tiebreaker.
The Highlanders return to action when they travel to Melbourne, Florida for Spring Break to take on Northern Illinois. The match is scheduled for Monday, March 10 at 12pm.
