TENAFLY, NJ - The NJIT men's tennis team was dominant in its 6-1 victory over visiting Saint Francis (NY) Saturday afternoon at Tenafly Racquet Club.
The Highlanders won five out of six singles matches and also swept the three doubles matches.
NJIT's Anthony Tunnero and Cosmin Chiujdea were double winners picking up wins at second and fourth singles along with a 8-4 victory at first doubles.
Senior Ramy Lawandy was a winner at fifth singles and teamed up with Kevin Irani at third doubles, for an 8-4 win. Freshman Siddardth Verma recorded a win at the sixth spot.
The Highlanders will return to action on Tuesday, March 17, when they face St. Thomas (FL) at 2pm.
