Chiujdea and Lang Pick Up Wins for NJIT at Bucknell Invitational

Bucknell Invitational - Day Two Results

LEWISBURG, PA - The NJIT men's tennis team competed at the Bucknell Invitational picking up two individual wins by Cosmin Chiujdea and Jonathan Lang Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore Chiujdea who fell to Quinnipiac's Sean Pease yesterday bounced back in the second round of the men's singles competition topping Joy Michaels of UConn 5-7, 6-4, (10-4) in the third flight.

Lang recorded a win in the second flight against UConn's Schuler claiming a 6-3, 6-3 win.

In the doubles contests, Chiujdea and freshman Anthony Tunnero tallied a victory in the second round defeating Quinnipiac's Hughes and Feldman, 8-4 in the first flight.

In the third round, Chiujdea and Tunnero came up short falling to Bucknell 8-3.

The Bucknell Invitational will wrap up on Sunday with two singles rounds and one round of doubles.
