PRINCETON, NJ - The NJIT men's tennis team competed at the 2007 Wilson/ITA Northeast Regional Men's Tennis Championships at Jadwin Gymnasium on the campus of Princeton this afternoon.

The action began Thursday, October 18, at 9 a.m. with the first round of singles qualifying. Main draw singles and doubles action began today Friday, October 19 and continues throughout the weekend, with the singles semifinals and championship match and doubles final taking place on Tuesday, October 23.

Sophomore Steve Erickson battled out a hard fought two-set match against Army's Eddie Kang as he fell 7-6(5), 6-4. With the victory Kang moves on to take on Mark Brodie who received a bye in the first round.

NJIT's first doubles team which consisted of Cosmin Chiujdea and Anthony Tunnero fell in the first round 8-1 to Army's Sean Harris and Kang.
