TEANECK, NJ - The NJIT men's indoor track and field team competed at the 2007 Patch Meet Sunday afternoon at the Rothman Center on the campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Sophomore Joel Rosado making his season debut in the 55 intermediate hurdles set a school-record with a time of 8.0 placing fourth.
NJIT runner Jeff Pierik-Page set a school-record in the 300 meter-dash clocking in with a time of 36.6, finishing 11th out of 29 runners.
In the 4x800 relay which consisted of Mark Givens, Brad Leonhardt, Munroe and Montawo, the Highlanders set a new school-record finishing with a time of 8:58.0.
Senior Matt Magnifico finished with a jump of 11.68m in the triple jump while Aamir Ahmed took a six place finish in the shot put with a throw of 8.70m.
Highlander Chadwick Munroe jumped 1.67m setting a new school record.
NJIT travels to New Haven, CT to compete in the Yale Invite, Saturday, Jan. 12 at 9:00am.
