At NJIT ... 2008: EIVA all-Academic team. ... the team's tallest player, recorded 59 total blocks ranking him tied for first on the team with junior Charles Bell. In the quarterfinals of the EIVA tournament at Princeton on April 19, Wagner combined for a season-high 10 total blocks. In the semifinal round against George Mason, ranked 11th in the nation, he had an impressive .478 hitting percentage with 12 kills and one error in 23 swings. 2007: Eighth nationally in hitting pct (.449) ... EIVA all-Academic ... in his last five outings he notched 41 kills on 53 attempts with just two errors. ... 2006: EIVA all-Academic ... 2nd on the team in blocks (0.72 pg). ... 2005: Played outside and was 2nd on the team in kills (233, 3.15 pg) ... 4th in digs (83).

Prior to NJIT: Three-time all-scholastic for coach Steve Jarvis at Minnechaug HS, where his senior team won a state title. ...
