NEWARK, NJ - The NJIT men's volleyball team will host a playoff match for the first time since 2000 when it takes on Springfield on Wednesday, April 16, at 7 pm in the Estelle and Zoom Fleisher Athletic Center in the first round of the 2008 EIVA playoffs.

The Highlanders are looking for their fans to pack the house in the last chance this year to see NJIT play at home.

As a sign of appreciation for the fan support all season, the men's volleyball team will sponsor a barbecue for fans on the green near the Campus Center from 4:30 pm to 6 pm before Wednesday's match. There will also be fan giveaways during the match.

Admission to the match is free for NJIT students with valid ID, $4 for NJIT Faculty/Staff and non-NJIT students and $5 for adults.
