2004-05: As a sophomore qualified for NCAA Regionals and finished 30th out of 55 entrants.

2003-04: In her first year of organized fencing, was named team MVP ... second team all-NIWFA and academic all-NIWFA honoree .. qualified for NCAA Regional championship ... led team in wins (18) and percentage (.621) ... also two-time team MVP in tennis.

2003-02: Did not fence.

Prior to NJIT: Attended ELC International School in Malaysia ... won Malaysia state tennis tournament.

Personal: Deepti Sanjai ... only child of Sundaram and Pushpalatha Sanjai ... majoring in biology ... student in NJIT's Albert Dorman Honors College ... earned membership in Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society ... had a 22-28 record in two years of varsity tennis, playing mostly at the No. 1 spot.
