MADISON, NJ - Six members of the men's and women's fencing teams represented NJIT at last Sunday's NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regionals, held at Drew University. The individual results were released three days later.

On the men's side, freshman foil Andrew Pancoast finished 29th, senior saber Lucien Patterson was 28th and senior saber Michael Goldsmith was 30th. Senior epee Matt Edzenga qualified but did not compete.

All three Highlander women competed in saber. Senior Michelle Paulter finished 22nd, junior Deepti Sanjai 23rd, and freshman Nyakiyo Kairu 28th. Paulter and Sanjai were the only two of the six Highlanders to advance to the second round of competition.
