Tiffany Williams joins the NJIT coaching staff for the 2004 season. She brings extensive youth coaching experience to NJIT. She started her college coaching career while still an undergraduate at Division I Rutgers University. Unfortunately, her playing career ended after sustaining a serious head injury in 2001. She joined the Rutgers coaching staff shortly thereafter. Williams and Radu were college teammates both at Rutgers and PDA.
Williams is most proud of her accomplishments in the Olympic Development Program. She played seven years representing Eastern Pennsylvania and also played three years on the Region I team and one year with the youth national pool. At the same time Williams played for Downingtown High School, (PA) where in 1998 she was named High School All-America. She also played for nationally recognized FC DELCO. She was part of five state cup championships and one Region I finals appearance. Williams was recently inducted into the FC DELCO Hall of Fame.
Williams holds a coaching license from the NSCAA and USSF. She received a bachelor's degree in econmics from Rutgers in 2004, and is pursing an MBA from NJIT. She resides in North Brunswick.
