FAIRFIELD, CT - Fairfield defeated visiting New Jersey Institute of Technology, 103-22, in women's swimming Saturday.
The Highlanders picked up points in three events, with three swimmers, Lauren Thompson, Ashley Craig and Teresa Higgins. Higgins placed fourth in the 50-meter free followed by Craig.
Thompson finished first in the 100-meter back with a time of 1:46.9, while Higgins placed second in the 100-meter free at 36.41.
The Highlanders will host Manhattan on Friday, January 26 at 6pm in the Fleisher Athletic Center.
