PLEASANTVILLE, NY - The New Jersey Institute of Technology women’s swimming team captured first in the 200-yard medley relay and the 200-yard freestyle, but Pace defeated the Highlanders, 98-52, Sunday.

The winning quartet for NJIT in the 200-yard medley relay was Lorin Diaz, Ana Ossa, Alaine Fairweather and Lauren Thompson, with a time of 2:14.96.

Ossa, the Highlanders’ star senior, won the 200-yard freestyle in 2:08.86.

NJIT will visit Montclair State on Tuesday in a 6 pm start.
