NEWARK, NJ - Senior Ana Ossa set two school records and posted her team’s two first-place finishes Saturday, as the New Jersey Institute of Technology women’s swimming team had its first competition since December, returning to host Adelphi.
The visitors posted a 100-64 win, with Ossa, NJIT’s record-setting senior, establishing new school standards in the 400-yard individual medley (5:03.69) and in the 200-yard butterfly (2:28.54). She was second in the 400 IM and first in the 200 fly, while also claiming the top spot in the 200-yard breast stroke (2:37.39).
The Highlanders will host Fairleigh Dickinson on Wednesday at 6 pm.
