Women's Tennis Tops Saint Peter's, 6-1

TENAFLY, NJ - The NJIT women's tennis team was dominant in its 6-1 victory over visiting Saint Peter's Saturday night at Tenafly Racquet Club.

The Highlanders won five out of six singles matches and two out of three doubles matches.

NJIT's Iulia Doci had a big day teaming up with Fatima Kasem to win, 8-1, at first doubles and notching a 6-0, 6-0, win in first singles over Peahen Vanessa Pangikas.

Fanny Aizier, who teamed up with Dasa Stanimirovic went on to win second doubles and picked up wins at third and fourth singles.

With the win today, NJIT picks up its sixth win of the season and returns back to action on Wednesday, February 20, when they host Morgan State at Tenafly Racquet Club at 8:30pm.
