NEWARK, NJ - Visiting Fordham took all three doubles matchups and then three of the five contested singles spots for a 4-2 women's tennis win over NJIT Thursday afternoon on the Fleisher Athletic Center courts.
The NJIT points in its final home match of 2007-08 came from Fanny Aizier, who defeated Fordham's Martina Featherston, 6-0, 6-0 at fourth singles and from Dasa Stanimirovic, who won fifth singles by taking a 1-0 lead in the first set and then winning by forfeit.
The Highlanders, who have two matches remaining on the schedule are set to visit the University of Rhode Island on Sunday at noon.
