Women's Tennis Competes at Bucknell Invitational

Bucknell Invitational - Day One Results

LEWISBURG, PA - Iulia Doci and Isha Toor each picked up wins today in the first day of the Bucknell Invitational in women's tennis action.

Doci, who battled back in a three-set match in the first flight defeated UConn's Kelley LoRusso 3-6, 6-1 (10-2).

Toor followed in Doci's steps fighting out a three-set match of her own claiming a 6-2, 5-7 (11-9) victory over Quinnipiac's Lisanne Steinert.

Highlander Fanny Aizier came up short in the fourth flight 6-2, 4-6, (10-3) to Bucknell's Dara Dwojeski.

NJIT will return to action tomorrow when they play two doubles rounds and one singles round.
