Women's Indoor Track Sets Three School Records at Seton Hall Open



Hemmingway sets school-record in shot-put with a throw of 9.84

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - The NJIT women's indoor track and field team set three school-records at the Seton Hall Open on December 2.

Freshman Nicole Kerrison set the first school-record in the 400 meter-dash recording a time of 1:04.16 while by Lesley Hendricks finished at 1:05.36.

Classmate Katherine Joseph set a freshman and school-record in the 800 meter dash clocking in at 2:40.58 taking a fifth place finish.

Senior Denaya Hemmingway set a school-record in the shot-put with a throw of 9.92 breaking her old mark of 9.84.

The Highlanders return to action on Sunday, December 9 at the Patch Meet hosted by Fairleigh Dickinson.
